Eastern Alamance defeats Graham in High School Football

By Daniel Temple

October 1, 2008- The Eastern Alamance Eagles notched another win this past Friday, as they cruised to an easy victory over Graham High School, 32-12.
The game was the only one in Alamance County that wasn’t cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather.
The Eagles jumped to an early 19-0 lead in the first half, aided by running back Elliot Powell and his multiple touchdown runs.
Graham finally got on the board in the 3rd quarter after a 13-yard TD strike from Seth Caison, but it was too little, too late.  Amidst sporadic showers, Eastern held on for the victory, improving their record to 5-0 on the season.
This week the Eagles take on Cedar Ridge, this Friday, at 7:30 p.m.  The Eagles next home game is October 24, against South Granville.
